Tube Endforming and Flaring by Deerfield Machine
Parts
As a major contract manufacturing company, Deerfield Machine
Parts (DMP) performs tube endforming, tube flaring, swaging,
and beading to meet customers' requirements for tight tolerances
according to exact product or subsystem specifications.
Deerfield Machine Parts specializes in endforming (and cutting)
tubes that are 1 inch or less diameter. Whether customers
need short-run custom jobs or high-volume production manufacturing,
Deerfield Machine Parts is ready with superior tube endforming
capabilities.
What is Tube Endforming?
There are a variety of endforming techniques, all of which
alter the end of a tube. Endforming is necessary for many
applications, such as creating connections to other pipe
products or achieving a tight fit within another system.
DMP uses specialized equipment and presses to achieve extremely
close tolerances for a perfect fit every time. Please visit

endforming performed by the DMP job shop.
What is Tube Flaring?
Tube flaring is a type of endforming that is used to connect
tubing products. Flaring forms the end of a tube into a
funnel shape so that it is capable of being held by a threaded
fitting. Depending on a customer's specification, Deerfield
Machine Parts will create single flares, double flares,
bubble flares, etc.
What is Tube Beading?
Deerfield Machine Parts creates a projection or multiple
projections in a process called tube beading. Beading increases
the strength of the final tubing product and is commonly
used for products that require a slip-on hose connection.
Beading can be achieved either through roll beading or compression
beading.
What is Tube Swaging?
Swaging is used to reduce or expand
the diameter of a tube product. Basically the tube
is pressed into or onto a forming die which provides
the end product with the very close press-fit tolerances.
Located in New Jersey, Deerfield Machine
Parts is proud to provide many types of endforming
for customers based not only in New Jersey but in
